Last Wednesday I had to get lunch for mum early because of some administrative matters at the office.
Say Yes Cafe is very popular. Deservingly so because their Nasi Ayam Goreng is vavavoom! Besides, their service is fast and efficient.
Later in the afternoon, I went for a late lunch (early dinner) at Red Kettle. I had an ice Latte in spite of it being mid afternoon. Oh dear, I might have trouble sleeping! Ah, never mind lah.
Ok, I admit it was my partner's Fish & Chips during datenite that triggered the craving hah...hah...
I transferred the fish and onion rings onto the side plate so that it is easier to eat.
I enjoyed everything about this Fish & Chips. I was very satisfied with my meal and no wonder my partner loves the Fish & Chips here.

Dear friend, now you are getting me in the mood for some fish and chips! LOL! :) This time they mentioned the type of fish...perch! This is good! I haven't tried perch in many decades, that I can remember! Here they use cod, which is very tasty and good! I do enjoy the tartar sauce that comes with it, and the chips....well, delicious! It really is a great meal!
ReplyDeleteThis place looks very open and airy, spacious and comfortable. I like the name of the Cafe...Say Yes! With a name like that, the food just has to be good! I like the presentation and the way they serve this delicious looking dish!
Your photos are lovely!
And the quotation at the end of your post is fantastic, dear friend!
Thank you so much for sharing, and I hope you have a wonder filled week ahead!
Wow, already have ppl queing even before opening? Food mst be good in that lil' cafe. The fish & chips looks good too. Wait a minute....it wasn't friday๐
ReplyDeleteWe like the nasi lemak chicken in say yes cafe too. Think it tastes a bit better than the chicken in the nasi lemak shop ๐
ReplyDeleteWow, before 7.30am and there's people already waiting. Oh, so Red Kettle uses perch for their fish & chips (so far I think I've had perch, pollock, halibut, barramundi and dory, of course). Can't really remember which one tasted better...probably halibut & barramundi. Cod (or haddock) would probably be the best (but expensive)...hope to taste cod or haddock one day. Gordon Ramsay's fish & chips restaurants only serve cod...so you know that's the standard...haha! :D
