The Kat Family : #9 Let's Go Kai Kai

The time came on day #26 for the kitties to go down to the ground. Turun padang yay!

But before that, let's take a look at the three of them before I took them one by one to go kai kai.

As usual, Ah Boi was an eager beaver.

All right then. Let's go!

Mama Kat will have her hands paws full when all three kitties are running around all at once.

This is testing testing with Ah Boi being the pioneer.

There you go, Ah Boi and mama.

Ok, Ah Boi has to go back into the box.

It was Poodie's turn.

Mama cat is getting the feel of handling her kitties outside. Definitely more challenging than keeping them in check inside the box.

Ah Boi and (the late) TuTu were in the box and Ah Boi was very unhappy to be back inside.

Girl came around to check out her niece hee..hee...

Soon Poodie was hauled back inside with her bestie. It was (the late) TuTu's turn to venture outside.

This girl is very lembap. She was very slow and not as eager as the other two. She was more timid.

This was the day I made the decision to lock them up inside the cage in the evenings. It was to keep the kittens safe and most of all, to prevent Kittie Kat from going romancing (and getting knocked up again).

There was not enough space to put a toilet in there. So therein lies the challenge of risking "accidents" inside the cage. I tried to make sure everybody did their business (which usually happens after makan) before I locked them up. But it was no guarantee.

In the mornings, I let them out although I was aware that the kittens may be exposed to danger. But they have to learn to survive.

This was (the late) TuTu when I opened the cage door to let them out. All the kitties ran out but TuTu stayed behind. That's when I realized this girl is not as alert and brave as her siblings.

  1. Good morning! Today is a bright and sunny day. Thanks for sharing about your kittens and furkids. They make my day. Ah Boi looked really eager to venture out. I love all the three of them. Plus loving and motherly kitty kat and the big fat orange Ah Girl.

    1. Hope you find it at Cold Storage. Over here also, not all supermarkets sell kefir.

  4. Maybe Tutu is a special need child from your observations of her development as compared to her siblings.

  5. The last photo of TuTu is tugging at my heart strings...she was so pretty. She being more passive probably contributed to her "accident" when she was out roaming...so sad!

    1. Yes, that's what I thought too. She was slow witted, the poor thing. It's amazing that Kittie Kat (my partner says she looks very Jinjang. LOL!) could produce such and pretty, cute and adorable kitten.
