Meat At Home

These are my recent (boring) typical meaty meals at home.

Cooking these days is fuss free. I remember the days of washing veggies (unless if eating ready washed salad greens), peeling, slicing and stir frying or tossing in salad dressing.  A lot of times, I also ended up with wilted veggies which I had to compost.

Then there is the meat which is usually marinated in all sorts of sauces, which of course is delicious. And not forgetting the curries and other dishes that require so many ingredients that needed blending and sauteing and braising. So much work.

Now I just put meat into the air fryer. No marinade required.

No seasoning either.

Veggies comprise of ferments and I also enjoy store bought pickles.

This was a bacon wrapped pork chop.

Accompanied by sauerkraut and pickled gherkins.

Steak and eggs.

Whoops! What's this??? My partner's wanton mee hah...hah...hah... Which looks so good, right?

This I have to agree from my own experience.

  1. Good morning πŸŒ… I prefer your meals to wanton mee. Nowadays I cannot finish the normal portion of noodles, must order small portion only. bacon wrapped pork chop sounds so good, u r so innovative! πŸ˜‹

    1. Good morning! Me too! If I eat too much noodles, I become bloated.

  4. I agree with Kris, that Char Siew is too lean, not even a bit of fat. :P
