It was Labor Day and I wanted to make the pork belly that I was going to eat more interesting.
I forgot to take a photo of the raw pork belly and the above is how it looked like. What they call mini pork belly.
It was just a simple matter of wrapping one piece of pork belly with one slice of bacon.
Arrange the wrapped pork belly on a wire rack. And then air fry at 180C for 16 minutes.
I got crispy garlic chips as well once the wrapped pork belly was cooked.
I loved it even though it does not look appealing.
My serving of probiotics.
Oh, last weekend my partner tapau this portion of vinegar pork knuckle for me. It was pretty good.
I think I will make these bacon belly bites again. Maybe try to make it look more presentable hee..hee...
Wow! This pork belly wrapped with bacon is much better than processed sausages wrapped with bacon. What a very good idea ππ with your kimchi and pickled red cabbage, this is a well balanced meal.
ReplyDeleteI will make this often since it was so nice hee..hee...
DeleteThe vinegar pork knuckles look tasty ππ where did he buy it?
ReplyDeleteIt was from one of the chap fan shops at Damansara Utama.
DeleteThe pork belly looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI like. Got pork belly, got fried garlic bits and kimchi. But pork knuckles not for me, as I prefer food without bones.
ReplyDeleteI like the skin and fats in the braised pork knuckle dish hee..hee..
DeleteYour version of Pin In A Blanket!
ReplyDeleteYes, without using sausage!
DeleteTypo, should be pig. :P
DeleteGot it :)
DeleteAs I know bacon cooks/charred very fast in the air fryer, surprised that the pork belly underneath can be cooked in time.
ReplyDeleteI reckon it's because the pork belly is thinly sliced, so it cooks faster.
