I opted for iced black coffee. So refreshing on a hot day.
This time it's the Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Toastie. Served with a wedge of lemon.
I did squeeze some lemon on the smoked salmon filling.
Nyummm.... but because of the heat when toasting the bread, the smoked salmon was cooked.
So it was like eating cooked salmon flakes, which is not a bad thing but you don't get smoked salmon as it should be.
But it's all right. I enjoyed the toastie all the same. But this one won't be my choice in future.
Next try would be Tuna and Red Onion. That should be nice too.
Good morning. Time now. 9.01am. Your food pictures give me hunger, lucky that I had my bf and kopi already. Smoked salmon with cheese in toasts sound tasty. Nyum yum yummy!

DeleteNo lah. I do take ice and cold drinks when weather is scorching hot, just that coffee I seldom take ice/cold version (you gave me idea that I can try iced coffee too). If I have iced drinks, it would be like A & W, lemongrass, barley, lime, blum/plum and so on.

Delete2nd toastie tried...done & check! On to the 3rd toastie! ;) I would certainly enjoy this toastie if not for the cheese.
ReplyDeleteAh yes, you are not a fan of cheese. The toasties here are loaded with cheese and I am somewhat surprised that I am embracing cheese a lot more than I did in the past. My tastebuds have changed quite dramatically.

ReplyDeleteThey used electric grill to get that nice even toasting. If you like toasties, can go and try if you are in Uptown area.
