In the morning, my partner and I went to Aeon at bit later than usual because we woke up late. LOL!
We noticed that Aeon has introduced smart trollies. My partner is the one who goes to get the trolley and he made an enquiry on how these trollies work.
The attending staff informed him that you scan your purchases as you put them into the trolley. At the end of your shopping spree, you press for total and proceed to the self-checkout counter.
Then someone will come and verify your purchase before you make payment (just in case you are naughty and put 15 items but scanned only 10. I think so lah)
Aiya so mafan. So he stuck to the old fashioned trolley LOL!
Good morning! Here we do not have smart trolleys yet but we do have cashiers where you scan the items you are buying yourself and put the money into the machines yourself. I am sure you have those in Malaysia too.
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Oh ya, we have those self-checkout machines but somehow I prefer a human cashier. LOL!
DeleteMe too! Cos we can interact and connect with the cashiers. Sometimes I like to crack jokes with the cashiers when I am getting creative hee hee.
DeleteRecently I have been having this problem in leaving comments in your blog. I only left a comment and when I hit the published button, it appeared twice in your blog. By the way, will like to share a quote on top of the quote you shared. "Either you run the day or you let the day runs you."
ReplyDeleteThis is a problem with Blogger's system. Many time, comments will go into spam, even my own replies to comments >.< So if your comment disappears, not to worry because I check my spam folder.
DeleteHahahaha Girl is so cute, sleeping in that style under your neighbor's car. πΉI have seen that trolley at mid valley aeon but didn't ask how it works. Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Girl is like totally in dreamland!
DeleteThe quote reminds me that there used to be a men's apparel brand called Second Chance and I usually give second chance to the restaurant or cafe I visited unless their food is really bad and there are no other choices in their menu.
ReplyDeleteAs to your earlier quote "Either you run the day or you let the day runs you" is very relevant because it is important how we react to problems - either we go nuts and be negative or take a step back and assess the situation and respond positively. I try to do that but sometimes things can get overwhelming.
DeleteI had seen cats sleeping like that too, lol !!!
ReplyDeletehah..hah... they are so deep in sleep and comfortable enough to allow themselves to get into such a vulnerable position.
DeleteOh, now got smart trollies pulak. Before this they also had self-checkout counters and then also very mafan that you have to stamp your receipt with the guard to verify (possibly just in case you're naughty too).
ReplyDeleteWe used the self-checkout once and only once LOL!
DeleteMalaysians' honesty cannot be trusted, haha!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Very true lah. There are some cheeky ones.
