Best Bibimbap in Damansara Uptown

According to me, that is. I have had my fair share of Bibimbap in Damansara Uptown herehereherehere and here.

It was time to taste another one at Seo Gung BBQ Korea

It was served in a heated stone bowl and I could hear the rice sizzling! Three banchans came with it - kimchi, mashed potatoes and pickled cucumber.

Ah! That was how good it was. An encore was in order (some days later).

This time I requested extra gochujang sauce which was served on the side. It came with the same set of banchan.

Underneath the fried egg were various types of vegetables piled atop a good portion of rice.

There was also some minced pork too. The vegetables were grated carrots, shitake mushrooms, sliced cucumbers and cabbage.

The extra gochujang sauce might have been a little bit too much (but I appreciated the generosity) and it was stirred into my delicious bowl of Bibimbap.

Oh my! It was so so so good!

Hee..hee..hee... After that of course, the mandatory glucose burning walk.

Where I found another glucose carb hangout.

Tsuru Tsuru.

This place specializes in udon.

There used to be another udon place which unfortunately closed down.

They serve coffee here which is always good in my books. Desserts too! Maybe I will visit, we'll see.

  1. Ah, I like to eat bibimbap too because of the many ingredients in one bowl. Yummy 😋🤤

  3. Ha, I thought that empty stone bowl was a clean new one! Ah...An Udon restaurant, the price is much more reasonable if compared with the one I had at 1 Mont Kiara on last Sunday.
