Happy Saturday

Today my partner joined us to visit dad.

Before we picked up mum and my brother, I took a walk to Damansara Kim to buy chicken rice for dad. Usually it is my brother who picks up dad's lunch but his car was in the workshop.

It looks like Ah Boy is now one of the highlights at the home.

My brother is practicing how to carry a baby hah..hah..hah....

I also couldn't resist holding Ah Boy.

My lahling also kena dragged into the photoshoot.

My other brother also turned up and to dad's delight, he had many visitors today. Dad was in good spirits and was very animated and happily chatting away.

After the visit, we headed to Kar Hiong for lunch. We were lucky and got a parking space directly opposite the restaurant. We always try to park as close as possible to make it easy for mum.

heh..heh... Honey Pepper Mushroom (again).

My brother's favorite steamed fish. The fish was very fresh.

I miss the Crispy Pork Belly and I requested for this dish. It was so good!

I think we also had this last week, the Sweet Potato Leaves stir fried with garlic which is one of my lahling's favorite vegetable.

Since there were four of us, all the dishes were large portions. Not surprisingly, my lahling had an extra bowl of rice hee...hee...hee...

That was again a very good lunch at Kar Hiong!

  1. Ah, so good to hear that your father is happy with so many people visiting him. Let me see when I can get to taste the mushrooms that I have read so much about. Fingers crossed 🤞
