Carb Day : Chicken Rendang Flatbread

It was Saturday. Carb day! Woohoo!

Well, before I indulged, I went to Say Yes Cafe to tapau nasi lemak for mum.

Mum loves their nasi lemak ayam goreng.

It being a weekend, the place was packed.

On my way to my breakfast, I came upon this cute doggie. I dare not pet the doggie. It was so obedient, perched on the chair. So I said hi! bye!

At Halla Holla, I got me a hot Latte.

Chicken Rendang Flatbread.

And of course, protein - two onsen eggs.

What a nice breakfast.

Eggs first.

I try to slurp the eggs into my mouth without breaking the yolks.

I failed with the second egg.

The Chicken Rendang Flatbread was very nice. The bread was chewy which I like. Some people prefer soft fluffy bread (I do like it too) so this may not appeal to them.

The rendang filling with added thinly sliced turmeric leaves was pretty good. I found it delicious and aromatic. There is melted cheese but if you don't like cheese, no worries. You can't taste it.

After my very satisfying meal, I made my way to visit mum.

They should open branches, especially in areas closer to me, hehehe.

    1. I am sure if they do well enough, they will open branches. Hopefully your area is the first one!

  4. I just had my first try on Kenny Hills Baker's sourdough and it is probably had the hardest crust among the sourdough bread that I've tried. Too hard for me to enjoy I would say. >_<

    1. Oh, if the crust is too hard, I would not like that. Will hurt the roof of my mouth >.<
