Pre-Chinese New Year Carb Loading
I still have Chinese New Year stories. During the Chinese New Year, Red Kettle curated a festive menu as they do at every celebration.
It was a late lunch when there is less people.
The dish I chose was a supposed clay pot rice with pork belly and tamarind honey pork ribs.
Whatever I eat, I must have coffee.
Now let's try the tamarind honey pork ribs.
I loved the marinade of these ribs.
The chili dip packed quite a punch!
There is more meat in the claypot rice. An egg too!
That was a very filling meal! This menu is no longer available except for the tamarind honey ribs.
After that I went to have a peek at this lion dance.
Wow! Sure looks tasty 😋
ReplyDeleteLong time I didn't go red kettle already. Have a good weekend ☺️
They have some new items on the menu which are quite good.
DeleteBeautiful photos, dear friend! I absolutely love pork ribs!!!
ReplyDeleteI cannot resist pork ribs!
DeleteIf there's one thing I can't do....it's to have kwai lo coffee with a Chinese-type meal (somehow for me it doesn't pair well). If it's a Chinese meal, I will only order local coffee with it....hehe! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh like that kah? hah..hah... I am OK whatever coffee hee..hee...
DeleteThese few days I did not have coffee cos having coffee at times gives me palpitations so I had teh o with less sugar instead hee hee. Your food photos make me salivate lol.
ReplyDeleteOh I see. If I have coffee too late in the day, I can't sleep.
