Yesterday the big boss had a meeting scheduled around lunchtime. Can I borrow your room? You can go for (a long, my addition, heh) lunch.
Well, when the boss wants to borrow your room, you say yes. Besides it was a good excuse to go for an extended lunch heh...heh...
So I decided since I had more time than usual, I would walk to The Atria. It was almost 12.00pm and it was very very hot.
Ah! There we are. This time I knew where to go and they gave me a nice seat. I was sweating buckets by then and this water feature next to my table looked very inviting.
It needed more than two slices of bread to soak up the tomatoey and eggy goodness. But of course we must exercise restraint when it come to carbs.
I'm glad I made that walk in the hot sun to eat at Antipodean. This cafe is a nice alternative to Red Kettle.
After the meal, I went for a walk on all floors of The Atria and noted that this shopping complex is not doing too well. Perhaps I will share my walk in another post.
Soon it was time to make my way back to the office.

Dear PH, that water feature would definitely draw me in. I love fountains ⛲️ and anything where there is water....lakes, rivers, oceans, streams, water fountains, waterfalls. I love the sound and smell, I find it very soothing.
ReplyDeleteYour latte looks great. I love how they make art like that.
The meals and presentations are lovely.
I like this cafe, it is quiet and relaxing. The food and service is pretty good. I also love water like you do!
DeleteWah, from uptown to atria is indeed a long walk, feels even longer when walking under the hot sun. The last time I ate at Antipodean Midvalley mall was in September 2019. The last time I went to Atria is early April 2020 just before the lockdown.
ReplyDeleteI had a very good exercise that day hah...hah.... My last visit to Atria before this was in 2023 with my brother. I think we were there to buy pharmaceuticals for our parents.
