Burger Time

It looks like I am trying every item on Antipodean's menu hah..hah...

Before that, my early morning breakfast.

I was very hungry and that happens sometimes. Maybe because I did not eat enough the day before.

Later that day I went to Twins Signature Roast Duck to tapau duck rice for mum.

Then I made my way to DJ. After my chit chat with mum, I walked to The Atria for lunch.

This was the Friday (public holiday) before Hari Raya. The food court outside The Atria was closed.

At The Atria, this escalator was still out of service.

So I walked up the escalator.

Antipodean was busy. I saw many families with young children. I guess it was a holiday outing for them.

I did not realize on earlier visits that there is a play area right behind my seat.

This time I opted for a Flat White. It was very good.

Look at that. So fancy, eh? It's like there is a balloon floating atop my burger. It's actually a plastic ball stuck to the metal skewer.

I loved the burger because the beef patty was well seasoned. The fries were very nice - crispy outside and fluffy inside. I also liked the dressing used on the side salad - it strangely had an alcoholic flavor.

After I was done, I went downstairs. It has been years since I have eaten KFC. It used to be such a sensation when I was in secondary school.

My parents treated us to KFC only once and I thought that was sad hah..hah... Ironically now that I have money to treat myself to KFC, I don't want to eat it. Haiz.

Since it was a public holiday, the long line of cars along the other side of the road was not present.

Along the way back to the office, I spotted this Ah Boi look alike.

It did not run away when I approached. I now appreciate black cats and I think they are beautiful.
