Thursday Makan

Thursday I had breakfast at Halla Holla. It was a busy day, so I thought why not eat early so that I can save time by skipping lunch.

I dropped by on the way to deliver mum's lunch and newspaper.

The iced latte that day was diluted - too much milk, not enough coffee. First time this happened to me. Meanwhile, the spiced bun that I liked had too much spices and was overwhelming. So I did not enjoy the coffee and bun. The best thing were the onsen eggs.

I passed by this house and the blood red Hibiscus was blooming. So beautiful!

These white ones were pretty too.

I don't know what these flowers are called but I love the color.

Unfortunately around 2:00pm I was hungry. LOL! I went to Bountiful but the dishes were leftovers and not attractive. Same thing at Jang Jang Rice. Then I went to DiYiTai and it was closed. Bah!

So I ended up eating nasi lemak at Say Yes Cafe.

Somehow I did not enjoy the nasi lemak. I usually love their nasi lemak. Maybe it was because I was not in the mood for nasi lemak.

On my way back to the office I passed by Chic Cafe and saw this. The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers. I am not familiar with them.

Then I saw this nice green plant.

  2. I love bunga Raya. I hope to have a bunga Raya plant in a pot one day but I don't do much planting. I only prune and trim plants only ๐Ÿ˜‚
Image search says the pretty purple flowers are garlic vines. They are really beautiful. Now I am tempted to ask my spouse to get it from the garden centers ๐Ÿ˜thanks for showing it.
    Enjoy your weekend!

    1. Me too. I want to expand my Bunga Raya collection. Pruning and trimming is very important for the well being of plants, so good job! LOL! Oh, garlic vines! Interesting, They are so beautiful draped over the house fence.

  3. Before you say that, I was wondering your late breakfast at Halla Holla, just that? Enough meh? Then I scroll down, I read your "unfortunately at 2pm......" LOL! Question about your Nasi Lemak, that big chunk of red colour which does not look like Sambal chili, are they Hae Bee Hiam (pardon my correct/incorrect translation - spicy shrimp floss)? And are those two chicken drumsticks? Or they are Ayam Berempah? Coincidentally, my lunch plan for tomorrow weekend Sunday is to eat Nasi Lemak at Ponggol Nasi Lemak (since 1979). Regret to read that you did not enjoy the diluted latte, overwhelming bun and the Nasi Lemak. It's alright, there are hits and misses at times. And dear friend, I love your quote, don't feel sad, hugs!

    1. hah..hah.. you know me so well! That red thing is sambal not Hae Bee Hiam (which is delicious). They hive a whole chicken leg chopped into three pieces. And yes, it is ayam goreng berempah. I hope you enjoy your nasi lemak lunch.

  4. Dear friend, diluted latte sounds awful. Yes, I do love your quote. I just read the other comments on your post and I know that people love you and your posts, including myself.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you so much for all your posts, for your visits and kind comments on my blog posts, and for your friendship. I made an unusual post on Friday, one I don't do often, but I thought it would be good to let my blog friends and readers know more about me. I will do a post like this every now and then, but not often.
I do hope that your weekend is going well. Sending you warm hugs and much love across the sea! :)
