Meanwhile, I caught Ah Boi in a playful mood.
She was rolling around on the ground.

Soon I had to leave for work.
After I dropped my stuff at the office, I made my way to breakfast. I passed by TK Confectionery and they were having a 10% member day promotion.
I don't think this breakfast is healthy because it is very carb heavy with inadequate protein.
Snowforte is celebrating their first anniversary.
At Halla Holla I decided to change things up a bit. I had two onsen eggs, iced Americano and something I never tried before - their house made tomato soup.
I would say that the tomato soup was pretty good. It was thick (coats the spoon thick), tangy and tasty.
It was nice to dip the sourdough bread into the soup. Next time, when available, I'll try their mushroom soup.

Nowadays I succumb to heavy carb almost no protein food because noodles are easily available from Amy eateries. Haizzzzz, need to get back to eating more protein.

ReplyDeleteLunch was at my neighbourhood Air Con Food Court - Economical rice (chap fan) with white rice, sesame oil chicken, steamed egg and tofu with a warm default soup with thin and tiny slices of winter melon. Costs S$4.10. During the current promotion, we can get a glass of Ice Drink at only S$0.90 by passing the paper receipt to the drink stall. I chose Iced Lime Juice. I finished all the chap fan and the lime juice was refreshing. Today was half day work for me and after work, was chill at home day. Tomorrow Sunday weekend and Monday Deepavali Public Holiday will be going out but will get home early when the sun is going to set. Planning to go eat Sushi Express for lunch tomorrow. Woohoo!
