It is my favorite sandwich and I have ordered it many times. Earlier, when I compared the visuals of the beef sandwich served at the Mid-Valley outlet, I noticed a difference.
The one at Mid-Valley looked like proper beef slices whereas the one at DJ looked more like chopped up beef.
This was how the DJ beef filling used to look like.
But now it looks like this.
See what I mean? I flipped the sandwich over because the bottom part tends to get a bit soggy. That is why the tomatoes and veggies are at the bottom.
I love those slices of beef and the overall taste of the sandwich is a lot better too.

Then outside TK, I saw this Sesame Egg Tart promotion. I have yet to try it.
This was Girl early in the morning. She flops down on the floor when she wants attention.
Then she decided to take a snooze.
That afternoon it rained which explains why Poodie and Ah Boi were so well behaved - they stayed home because they had no choice LOL!
Poodie was clearly not happy.
Ah Boi always presents as a black lump in photos but here she is, at least you can see her eyes and her collar. To get good shots of her, I need good natural light.

DeleteAh, good that Halla Holla is giving slices of beef. Too bad the menu of halla holla in midvalley mall is only a small subset of the menu in Damansara Jaya or else I would order just the omelette or scrambled eggs alone. In midvalley there are only sandwiches, croissants, sourdough bread loafs, pastries and cookies.

DeleteI agree, a proper beef sandwich should have beef slices not minced. So, their Beef Major had a major improvement....nice! ;D
ReplyDeletehah..hah... major improvement! Now their sandwiches are on rotation and special price on their sandwich of the week menu and beef is on Fridays.
