Singapore Cat

My blogger friend, Lotus, emailed me these photos of her adorable neighborhood feline.

I love cats, so these photos delighted me.

Oh, hello!

Someone is kind to this kittie and it gets kibbles for meals.

This posture is known as the loaf, like a loaf of bread. LOL!

I can see that this kittie is also a fatty bom bom like my Girl.

What a good life, relaxing in the sun.

I love her coat (assuming tri-color is female) of black, brown and white.

This kittie looks very cuddly. I wonder if she is friendly enough to allow herself to be petted and carried.

Always proceed with caution with cats because you don't know if it is friendly or it might scratch you.

She is very pretty.

This greyish one reminds me of my Ah Boy here and here.

If I remember correctly, Lotus calls this one Ah Black. Lotus, please correct me if I am wrong.

  1. Happy Mid Day! I am delighted to see the neighbourhood cats getting the "star exposure" here, hee hee. The tri-colour cat is very friendly, it will respond to your "meow-ing" and calling by rubbing its body against your legs. And I always like to visit it as it seems to be having a good, slow life, relaxing and admiring the greenery scenery in its spot every now and then. You are right, the second cat I named it Ah Black which is 小黑 in Chinese. Glad that you are a cat lover like me too.

    1. Good morning! Nice to know that the tri-color cat is friendly. If I were there, I would play with it and if it allowed me, I would carry it like a baby LOL! Ah, ok Ah Black is correct then for the greyish cat. Yes, we are cat lovers!

  2. The tri-colour cat is indeed a fatty bom bom and you call it "a loaf of bread" lol! I never thought of that term before, very appropriate.

    1. i really do not know what to say - i am a lover of animals, earlier when i came home, there are 2 stray puppies at neighbour doorsteps, i live in a shoplot ..... i know they are asking for food, but i have not at home except for cat feed ................. but if i start feeding them, it will never stop. it makes me said to harden my heart to just walk the stairs, ignore the,.......... it is still nagging my mind

    3. I am the same and there are many animal lovers who find themselves in this predicament. Many years ago a puppy followed me on my morning walk round and round the field. Then it even followed me back to my rented place but alas, I had to close the gate and see the puppy trying to come inside. How I wished I could let it in and adopt it but my situation then did not permit. I almost cried that day and when I think of that incident, it still breaks my heart! Same now when I see stray cats around my office area. I wish I could adopt them/give them food but as you said, they will keep coming back and the tenants at the other offices may not like having cats around.
