I Love Plants

Another living thing that I love to look at (besides cats) is plants.

Any form of greenery, especially flowering ones, always grabs my attention.

Currently, there are two kiosks selling plants at The Starling's bazaar (located at the concourse).

I had always envisioned having a few potted house plants in my living room.

You know, like those you see in home decor magazines or on TV. It makes the living room look so elegant and cosy, right?

Well, I did decorate my living room with money plants and such but my poor plants did not thrive indoors. I think it is because of the lack of natural light.

After that, I simply gave up. There are no more plants inside the house.

At least the ones in the garden are doing OK, except due to the current extreme hot weather, some are not doing well (because I forgot to water them).

Then I saw a kiosk selling these air plants.

Apparently you just hang them up and that's how they are supposed to be. But I don't find them attractive as they look messy.

Lunch was at the roast duck place.

The duck was not as good as the ones I had my previous two visits. Haiz!

I will take a break from duck for a while hah..hah...

  1. I also love plants! I love to see them selling at the shops...coz they're at their best-looking there. If I take them home, they'll just wither and die...lol! :D P/S: Did someone do you wrong? :D :D

    1. Me too, in spite of my love of gardening. LOL! Well, I have been wronged many times in my earlier life (forgiven but not forgotten) but not in recent times.

  2. I like plants but don't have any because I don't know how to care for them. I have had cats 🐈 most of my life. I am very good with animals and more knowledgeable. I now have two male zebra finches. They are a small and beautiful songbird. I love duck but haven't had it in quite a while.

    1. Oh! Finches are so cute! I saw a lady with a little bird (not a finch) perched on her shoulder and I was amazed that it did not just fly away.

  3. I love plants especially flowers. I love to gift my friends and acquaintances flowers during special occasions. Those who love plants and flowers, I am sure they love nature too. Just like you, I took a break from eating at my favourite duck stall after that day when the roasted boneless duck drumstick turned out to be tasteless and "stale".

  4. I think those indoor plants in malls are rotated out and replaced frequently by a garden center vendor. That is how the indoor plants in malls look so nice.

    1. Just like potted plants at some big offices, they are rented and the vendor does the care taking. I won't feel jealous after knowing all these things. LOL!
