Last Saturday I went to work. I had a lot of work to clear and before I got into it, I decided to eat breakfast.
It's a good idea to eat early so that I could work through lunch. Then I could have a relaxed late lunch once I finish my jobs.
Since I am avoiding carbs, I had my favorite onsen eggs and an ice Americano.
The eggs were nicely seasoned with salt and pepper.
My tummy was very happy after the tasty eggs.
Then I went for a walk along the shophouses.
I passed by The Baker's Barn. One day I will revisit.
On the walk back to DU, I passed by the house with lovely roses.
The roses made me smile.
Then at DU, I continued my walk since I was in good spirits.
I passed this night spot and I believe all those glasses were from the evening before (or the early hours of the morning). The staff must have been too tired to tidy up.
I have yet to visit The Fishing Cafe.
Well, actually I went up there before but left because there was nothing suitable to eat (at the time).
The menu is still very carb-centric.
Oh. There is another night spot at the other end of the building. I am not a lounge and bar person so this is a place I would not be visiting.
Some people love having their drinks with a live band performing but not me. I would rather be home with my book. How boring of me! hah..hah....

DeleteGood morning! Good planning to have lunch after you cleared your work then you can have a peaceful and relaxed meal. The past week during weekdays I have been having hard boiled eggs and cereals for dinner. Light and healthy. Vitamin D and proteins from the eggs. Fiber from the cereals and cereals help to induce sleep naturally. The quote will be what I will be doing and is my directive. Thanks for sharing my friend. Last night I felt sad, usually when the night falls, I tend to feel negative. Can't help, so sometimes I try to think of things that I should be thankful. Who never faces problems or never have unhappiness, nobody's life is perfect, period.

The midvalley branch has very limited items on their menu unlike this main hq.
After living for half a century, I must say I have never visited a lounge and bar in klang valley. 😂

Oh really, I thought Mid-Valley branch might have more items. I went to a lounge and bar with my partner years ago in Penang. Quite honestly, I don't enjoy that type of atmosphere.
DeleteThe Fishing Cafe is a "cat" cafe? I visited a Cat Cafe with my Buddy before.

DeleteThey do not have food served, only drinks, probably due to hygiene reasons.
