I used to do that when I was posting my baking and cooking back in the day before I started the carnivore way of eating.
One weekend I was inspired to plate my food and take nice photos. I have forgotten how much work is involved in styling food and trying to make it look good.
After all that trouble, I polished off my meal in less than 10 minutes. And spent more than half an hour cleaning up. Haiz!
Amen to that!

Dear friend, the meal looks scrumptious 😋 I love the quote as well. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI actually like to plate my food nicely even when eating at home (when I've the time) coz it looks more delicious that way (feast with our eyes first). Your plate of food certainly looks like one that came out of a restaurant. Of course, the plate always looks nicer when there are potatoes and vegetables (now that you're eating them again) to accompany your meat. I too especially like the juiciness and sweetness of those blistered tomatoes. Ya, there may be extra washing up to do but at least you made enough portions (of sides) for another 2 meals, so it's worth it. ^_~
ReplyDeleteWow! So beautiful your dish! I will be like sayang to eat the food because don't want to disturb the nice playing 😍🤩
ReplyDeleteThanks for the quote with the beautiful poster of sun set/sun rise at the horizon with the ocean and mountains. And so fun seeing how you plated your meat and veggies/potatoes looking pretty in their pink, red, green and yellow colours! Yes, I know it takes a lot of time and efforts as I had tried it myself before though not as "big scale" and yummy looking like yours hee hee. So sometimes if I make food or cook at home, I will try to do once and for all, made enough portions for both lunch and dinner. I do not have Air Fryer so usually I will steam my veggies like broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes and so on. After that I sprinkle a little dressing/flavour on them such as Roasted Sesame dressing or a pinch of salt. Good that you had taken photos before eating, for the memories of your awesome presentation and time spent doing what you like. Good job PH!
