No, no, they are not closing down or anything like that. The goodbye is at my end.
Bun and butter. I requested for warm water but I was told there is only hot water. OK. Served in a teacup.
There were bone shards in the lamb and no, it was not delicious at all. As I concluded last year, this ship has sailed along with the chef(s) who could cook the best steaks in town. Bye!

I don't remember when was the last time I ate in The Ship. I think it was more than 20 years ago. After that for steak we prefer to go to Victoria Station and now is to Maria's Steak Cafe.
ReplyDeleteI wonder ๐ค who eats at The Ship nowadays for them to survive till now
Apparently they still have customers. Some go there more for the nostalgia. The food is really dismal.
DeleteDo you think they added vinegar to the mint sauce? That's why it is sour?
ReplyDeleteOnline it says classic mint sauce for lamb contains lots of fresh spearmint and vinegar.
They might have added vinegar. It was very sharp.
DeleteThe mint sauce does look disgusting ๐ซฃ ๐ฉ Here in Montreal mint jelly is used...and it is green ๐ ๐ฉ like mint.
ReplyDeleteI do love ❤️ lamb. Thank you ๐ ๐ so much for sharing, dear friend.
You are right! It tasted even more disgusting! I have never had mint jelly.
DeleteI like the interior of this Ship restaurant.
ReplyDeleteThe interior is very old school.
