I went to Family Mart to get two packs of sandwiches for mum. Then I stopped by Halla Holla for breakfast.
I always remind myself - take the serviette before your fingers get dirty! I would not want to contaminate the clean serviettes by taking one out from the container when my fingers are already in contact with my sandwich.
Ice Latte. I love this!
The avocado was very pale. It made me think of guava.
I was afraid that they were not ripe.
But the avocados were perfectly fine, ripe and creamy. This must be a variety that is not so green.
After the food delivery, I walked back and I saw these lovely yellow Marigolds.
Yellow is such a bright and cheery color!
The resident who plants this rose was outside her house.
I complimented her on her roses. "Ho leng ah!" that's as far as my Cantonese goes hah..hah...
Lunch I cooked from home. Minced beef (pre-cooked and reheated).
Topped with three fried eggs.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) is a public holiday (Hari Raya Haji) and so is the first day of June which is next Monday (the King of Malaysia' birthday).
Sunday is Wesak Day and since the replacement holiday is Monday, some people are having Tuesday as a day off (since Monday is also a public holiday).
But not me. If two public holidays (or the replacement) falls on the same working day, we do not give further replacements.
I am looking forward to gardening galore! Woohoo!!
Dear PH, your flower photos are so beautiful! Yes, I would have also been concerned about the avocado being ripe, but I am so glad it was! It does tend to be a lighter green than I am used to seeing!

Ya, of course. The lady smiled and made conversation (in Cantonese) and she said she can't speak Hokkien or English.
DeleteI think 2 slices of sourdough would be too much for me for breakfast...coz sourdough slices are quite big. One half of the place will be just ngam for me....with a glass of coffee, of course! ;) Oh, I love your minced beef lunch (that reminds me.....) ^_~
