The previous Sunday (not yesterday) I closed my eating window at 5:00pm. I had a nice big dinner heh...heh....
Come Monday, the day I saw a full moon and adorable cats, I skipped lunch. My original intention was to do a skip day (ie no food until the next day) but I decided against it. It has been some time since I attempted a longer fast. So it is best to start slow.
That evening at 5:00pm+ I broke my 24 hour fast.
Eh, where is the caffeine you ask? Well, the server brought a mug of warm water to my table, so I decided to save some money by foregoing my usual coffee fix.
Roast beef is now offered as a side dish, so I got me a portion. But it didn't taste as good as it does as a sandwich filling without melted cheese, dressing and gherkins. So I won't get this again.
Warm water is supposed to be better for us than ice water. Usually the server will bring a bottle of room temperature water to the table.
Anyway, that was a nutritious breakfast and I admit I missed the coffee hah..hah...
Let me share the power and benefits of fasting for metabolic health. Good beneficial information must be shared.
It is a practice that has been adopted since ancient times (by our prehistoric ancestors too, due to scarcity of successful hunts) and by many religions. Ramadan is coming (right after Chinese New Year) and soon our Muslim brothers and sisters will be embarking on a month long fast.

A little worry is ok as it means you are thinking and you will think of constructive ways to handle any issues in your life. And after we did our best, we leave the rest to our gods.
