This dim sum restaurant was doing brisk business.
And so was Halla Holla.
A Latte is a must.
I miss the Focaccia bread.
So a Focaccia Beef Sandwich it was.
So good!
Come dinner, I had an early one.
I headed to Deli Foodie @ Foodie's Nest for an indulgence. This is my third visit after a very good experience last year.
Pork Chop Cheesebaked Spaghetti with Nonya Curry sauce. Good Lord! Hallelujah! It was heavenly!
Accompanied by coleslaw (which tasted very much better than the last time I had it) and complimentary corn. Nice!
This I will have to eat again on my next carb day.
heh...heh...heh.... Worth the calories and the glucose.
Wah, you are really making me hungry. I want to eat all these carbs that you ate! 😋😋😋🤤🤤🤤🤤

DeleteEven though I'm home alone this year, I was too shy to eat out alone (when everyone is eating with family), hence I cooked most of my meals...hah..hah. Cheese with nyonya sauce...what a combo! Will never know how it tastes together since I don't eat cheese...but will take your word for it...heavenly...lol! :D
ReplyDeleteNo need to be shy lah LOL! I saw one or two ladies dining on their own when I was out having my meals. The cheese is Mozzarella, very mild, so it can go well with curry. I cannot take strong cheese.
DeleteMaybe Kris Girl is afraid of running into kepoh friends or neighbours who will bombard you with questions when they see you alone (why are you alone? Where is your son? Where is your hubby? Why why why they never accompany, why why why?) Lol! We should wear a T-shirt with one big word "SO?" or "DO NOT DISTURB." when we are dining alone outside (especially for girls). So? So what if I am dining alone? So so so? Lol! So print on the T, the accounting software alphabets MYOB, mind your own business lah....hah!

DeleteYes Libby, PH is right...it's awkward dining out alone during festive seasons when everyone is dining with family & friends (they'll steal glances at you wondering why you're alone, not knowing the story behind it).

Was so busy today that I only have time to chill now with the English Radio Station on. I want that Pork Chop Cheesebaked Spaghetti and coleslaw (without the Nonya Curry sauce, have to remind myself as I am "sensitive" to curry, chilli and spicy stuff but once in a few blue moons should be ok however must remember to drink liang teh).

hah..hah... yes, we should enjoy our food but of course within limits. It's nice to chill listening to the radio. Somehow I always finish my food unless if it is something that is very bad.

DeleteEveryday before I sleep I will plan my food and beverage intake for the next day because there are so many choices so I will have a Plan A and if not there is always a Plan B :P
