My Skipping Rope Patah

Yesterday morning during my workout, I decided to revisit my (very dusty) skipping rope.

I have not jumped rope in a long time due to my back pain issues. When I suffered a slipped disc a few years ago, the sports specialist told me that skipping is not a good exercise because it puts stress on my back.

Prior to that I was able to skip for a duration of 30-45 minutes non-stop (with music). I was very fit then. But now, even 5 minutes I can't make it, which made me realize that skipping is a very strenuous workout. You see boxers incorporate skipping as part of their training.

So this morning when I attempted a few skips, I kept tripping. This happens for beginners and for those out of practice.

As you can see, my jump rope is quite worn out (and also very dusty hah..hah...).

After another attempt, the rope on one side putus. Haiz! I am wondering if I should get a new one.

The other evening I air fried two strips of pork belly. The idea was to eat one for dinner and the other for lunch the next day.

Very the sorry. I ate it all up in one sitting. Double haiz!

***Kittie Updates***

One evening it rained cats and dogs. Only Girl came home.

I set aside food for Kittie Kat and co.

Even after the rain stopped, they didn't show up. So I decided to just walk outside so that if they see me, they will come home.

It worked! The gang ran home and attacked their food.

Ah Boi shared a plate with Poodie.

While Kittie Kat shared with TuTu.

After makanAh Boi hung out with her auntie.

Meanwhile, TuTu made herself comfortable on top of the rattan storage box.

Poodie took to her favorite place.

I was glad they were all home and properly fed.

  2. I read online that it is good to sing to your fur babies so that they can recognize your voice so if they went out to jalan jalan n lost their way, u can just walk around your street singing n calling out their names n they will be guided by the direction of your voice to come home. This time good that they are at your neighbours so is easy to see you and come home ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š

  3. Not everyone is suitable to do strenuous exercise as each individual differs. I guess slow or brisk walk might be more suitable for you plus we get near to nature going for walks so it is good for us emotionally and spiritually.

Grandma, thank you for giving us such a comfy home, muacks! Meow!

  4. Your skipping rope patah? It's a sign that you don't have to skip anymore....wuahahahaha! P/S: Cats are like children, they need us to go call them back for makan. If you have kibbles in a container, just shake that and they'll come running. :D
