30 Day Carnivore Challenge : Day #6

Today I did another OMAD. I was at the office clearing up some stuff and no, the deadlines are not over yet.

I began to realize that skipping a meal really saves a lot of time. I don't have to worry about preparing lunch early in the morning. And I can work through the lunch hour.

On the home front, my two girls are now permanently barred from entering "their" room. I have had enough of their nonsense.

Girl did this a couple of weeks ago. This is very graphic, ok? At least it was on the pink mat and not on the bed.

Many weeks before that, Belle Belle vomited under the bed and I was oblivious to it until I smelled something funny while going upstairs.

I followed my nose and it led me to two mounds of almost dried up vomit under the bed. Pengsan I tell you. I knew she threw up a day before at the staircase landing. I cleaned up the mess, not suspecting there was more. Haiz!

Needless to say, Girl was very unhappy about being banned from the bed. Look at her super sulky face.

Belle Belle is pretty cool about it. She never complains. She is a sweet old girl.

For dinner today it was pork chops, marinated the day before and simply pan fried with a few cloves of garlic. I added some butter towards the end of cooking. That added an extra layer of flavor.

They were a bit charred because I was careless.

Nevertheless they tasted really good!

  1. They taste nicer when a bit charred, more wangi!!! Your babies don't look very happy, so placid. The straycats in my neighourhood killed a black pigeon yesterday and left it under one of my cars, blood all over! We were furious!!! Had to wash the car porch and get rid of the dead bird!!! I hate cats!!!

  3. Please let me know if you gain any weight by the end of 30 days... LOL... I must skip my carbs too, they really contribute a lot to weight gain.

  4. Pork chops that are more charred....means more flavour...I like! ;) There's a saying that if you feed stray cats, those stray cats will never pangsai in your house....and that is true indeed. The two cats I feed they don't shit in my house, so I don't understand why your two cats do that. Cookie has also never shitted in the house (he has puked out dry kibbles though probably coz he ate too fast). The only explanation I can afford is that they could have a medical condition that make them not shit in their litter tray.

    1. Yes, these pork chops were super tasty hee..hee... That's my observation too, the cats that I fed (back in those days before Girl was officially adopted) don't poop in my garden. It's like they don't poop their own territory. I think Girl had tummy upset because that evening she was super whiny.

  5. Very true, eating one meal a day saves a lot of time. Ok, have to ban. No choice. The blue mat is nice so both girls shouldn't complain. Thanks for the photos of them. One sulky, one relaxed. ๐Ÿ˜ป Good to read your omad pork chops are satisfying for you. ๐Ÿ‘
