I Wanted To Go To The Movies But He Said - NO!

Last Saturday I told my partner I wanted to watch a movie. No! No! Don't go! He was very adamant that I should not go to the theater because of the health risk of being inside an enclosed hall.

So I abandoned the idea. I do miss going to the movies and I guess he is right. The pandemic is far from over and I should not take the risk. There goes my plan of watching Train To Busan Presents : Peninsula

Saturday morning started well at home.

My cat has been sleeping on the armchair more often now, though she still prefers the sofa.

She just woke up from a nap and was all rolly and cutesy on the cushion.

She was in a good mood.

So I decided to kacau her.

I scratched fatty's tummy.

She was not amused and gave me a playful bite and kicks with the hind legs. Soon I had to leave for work and she stayed outside.

I had lunch at Pho Vietz for the first time after the MCO

My favorites hee..hee... Ah, never mind about the movie. I'll wait a little longer. Hopefully I can catch A Quiet Place II in September. For now, Netflix will have to do. By the way I am watching Making a Murderer which is quite interesting.

  1. Ah, Girl Girl is so adorable, rolling about on the armchair. Aiyo, Girl Girl is treating your hand like a toy, kicking it like that. I will put a video of the tenant kicking a toy fish like that tomorrow for you to watch.

  3. Your partner is right and he is wise. Cannot go to the movie theater now. Still dangerous. Enclosed space. Watch Netflix at home is much safer.

  4. I think your dine in is more than 20 times already, right? So no need to count any more. I no longer dine in now. Gone back to tapao and delivery.

    1. Seating separately is ideal for me since I go alone and no need to sit beside a stranger. LOL!

  8. Your partner is right...I would say 'no' too (I've not even been to a mall yet and a mall is not as enclosed as a cinema!). With countries that were deemed to have done a good job in containing the coronavirus, many have gotten themselves into a 'second wave' and that's cause for concern. If we're lax with our SOP, we may end up there too which is scary. Many are already not practising social distancing and some don't even bother to wear face masks these days, so making it compulsory in public places effective 1 August is a good move.

    1. You are very wise to be extra careful. At the mall I noticed many people are quite lacking in discipline and do not observe social distancing. I feel annoyed when people come close to me at the supermarket. It is me doing the distancing to avoid crowded aisles. As your correctly observed, many are not wearing face masks too. Haiz... our people never learn!

  9. I would not recommend to go to cinema now. The hygiene, health risk. Don't take the risk.

  10. Aiyo! Please tell your partner to bring you to movies!! I went to watch that Korean action packed Train To Busan: Peninsula. They have SOP seating inside and temperature checking outside. It is much safer than walking inside the AEON supermarket.

    1. Cannot lah. He is very careful one and will not want us to take risk. Never mind, I will wait a bit more and go when the situation is safer.

  11. My sis and her friend went to watch train to busan: peninsula, at the cinema. I saw one funny facebook comment that says, those movie goers can pretend to keep eating popcorns so no need to wear masks.
