Salted Egg Potato Chips


Is anyone tired of salted egg yolk already? I don't think so as it is still ever so popular.

 I learnt about this gourmet potato chips from a blog and decided to give it a go. Just order from their website.

 It arrived like this.

The contents.

One person. Six bags of snacks. This can't be right. I like to believe that I shared some with my brother. I think I did.
There's the Salted Egg Fish Skin and...

....... Salted Egg Potato Chips. Yes! This has to be so good right?


Look at that. Generous coating of salted egg yolk and loads and loads of fragrant fried curry leaves.

They use pure salted egg yolks and one other ingredient is 110% passion. I think so. These potato chips are super.

But there is only so much that you can eat. So I am taking a short break from anymore salted egg yolk snacks. But someone just tempted me. Haiz ....... hee... hee... hee....

    Salted egg yolks are now added/used as fillings in buns, croissants, fried chicken, potato chips, cookies etc.
    Thanks to internet/ youtube we can learn to make these dishes at home

    Ooo, I replied your comment before I came over here. So, my guess of the one you tried was Hofu just because of its location near you. I was actually going to put the other guess as this one, HouSek, but didn't in the end. I think these two are the more known brands. Looks like they're around Irvins prices too (perhaps 20g more). Since you say it's super, I'm tempted to try to see how it compares to Irvins.

      Oh, I noticed there isn't any fish skin pics....you haven't ate those yet? I wonder how that one taste. I salute you, you very gungho...don't know if it tastes any good but buy 6 packs at one go!

      I noted that there are a few other brands at Jaya Grocer. All very pricey as well hah..hah... I did eat the fish skin, just did not take pics. They were slightly sweetish and between the two, the potato chips were better. hah..hah... I bought 6 packs because what the heck!

    My daughter is obsessed with anything salted egg yolk! Most snacks with this ingredient is quite costly! And you bought 6 packs! Enjoy nya! :)

    Those salted egg yolk snacks are so pricey and I don't think I'll buy them. Good also as they are very addictive, once you started, it's hard to stop ~>_<~
