Sometimes my garden is graced by the presence of pretty butterflies. Oopps! I remember TM's creepy story and I now look at butterflies differently. Oh dear!
Anyway, I shall treat these lovely critters as God's creation and they saw it fit to visit my messy garden.
Do you see it? The butterfly. TM, if you see anything else, please keep quiet.
Now, is that a butterfly or a moth? What is the difference? I should have paid more attention during biology class.
Then on another day, another pretty one came by.
I am very sure this one is a butterfly as it is so colorful.
I was quite happy to be able to snap photos of these pretty creatures.
I also have pretty birds visiting but they are very difficult to shoot. The moment I take my camera out, they fly away.
I got no fate with butterfly, whenever I want to take picture of it, it fly away...
ReplyDeleteQuite hard to take their picture, I was lucky.
Deleteyour garden must be very lovely to attract so many butterflies!
ReplyDeleteActually it is quite messy. Maybe that's why butterflies and other insects love it. So natural LOL!
DeleteI love seeing butterflies in my garden too but seldom have them visiting. Maybe because I don't have many flowers around. Mostly leafy plants.
ReplyDeleteThey are attracted to flowers.
DeleteLOL at your comment on TM.. yeah, I would also prefer him to be quiet if he happens to notice anything else except nature! Indeed you have beautify the butterfly, I never really notice how colourful they are...
ReplyDeleteTM makes butterflies sound scary. LOL!
DeleteNo pretty critters come to my place coz I don't have nice green plants for them to rest their tired legs.
ReplyDeleteBesides, they might be afraid of a certain serial killer there. LOL!
DeleteApa lah all the aunties want me to zip my mouth!!! Tsk! Tsk!
ReplyDeleteYour butterflies are harmless and just visitors to admire your flowers. Usually the very huge and scary looking butterflies like white or devilish black ones often became taxis for departed souls. They would stay put on the wall or ceiling for hours or days near the entrance of the house if there is a door guardian deity that prevented them from entering the house. That one is confirmed to be the souls of your closed ones or ancestors calling for your attention. Just walk up and say "Hello what's up!" Tell them if there is anything you could help them, please enter your dream. With the given invitation, they could easily enter someone's dream in the family to relay something. Nothing to be afraid, this is normal and someday we will also depart and come back sitting on butterflies, grasshoppers or cockroaches! LOL
BTW you are so generous to post 8 photos showing same flower and insects. Adoi!
Thanks for the explanation. Now I am not so scared already. LOL! But takutlah to ask them to come into my dream. Nanti get scary dream.
DeleteTo me all moth and butterflies look the same, except that I think butterflies are more beautiful! The butterflies in my garden like to give me a run around with my camera. Most of the time they will fly off before I could even get a single shot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful butterflies in your garden, even the little grey one!
DeleteI was lucky that day to get a shot at two of them. There is one yellow one that is hard to catch!
DeleteGod's creatures, big and small...all are welcome in my garden!
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord!
Deleteoppssss....I didn't know about the creepy story that TM blogged previously....I 'played' with the giant butterflies and trying to 'murder' it...when I was a kid...gosh! And during my schooling days I did looked for nice 'specimens' to preserve (for school Bio project), that's when I really murdered butterflies, grasshoppers and cockroaches....Oh sh*t, I felt so sinful now.....
ReplyDeleteYou sound like me when I was a kid. I was really bad. I catch and tortured some of them. So sinful. That makes two of us!
Deleteyou take really nice photos of butterflies and flowers! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI yearn to have green thumbs. I love to be surrounded by green.
ReplyDeleteMy "green thumb" is a hit and miss sometimes. LOL!
DeleteNot easy to take close up shots of butterflies as they tend to fly away but you did it! I can even see the eyes of the butterflies clearly
ReplyDeleteI was lucky that day :)
DeleteBeautiful plants, and sweet baby butterflies...so cute! The big butterflies are so pretty, they really adore your flowers and are a 'blessing'!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me happy seeing butterflies in my garden.
DeleteI like that close up shot of the butterfly, beautifully snapped!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
