I am still not well but well enough to go to work. At least I feel much better than I did yesterday.
Lunch was at Street Porridge. I had my favorite 1/4 chicken (lower quarter) and warm water (because I am still coughing).
I had to go to the bank and I passed by Ming Kee. There was a group of customers waiting outside. That's how popular they are. That's why I try to come early, before 12:00pm.
I feel sorry having to quarantine him for now. Yesterday, I allowed him to run around the dining room for about 10 minutes. He was so happy, jumping, running and skidding on the floor hah...hah....
Well, once he is free of fleas and taken a good shower, he would be allowed to roam freely in the house.

This steamed chicken is much better than the si yao Kai, right? At least it is not on the sweet side.
ReplyDeleteBoth are good and yes, this is preferable because it is not sweet.
DeletePoochie can really climb like a monkey. π So cute π₯°❤️π»
ReplyDeletehah..hah... I am thinking of getting him a cat tree.
DeletePlease do. If can, get one made of real wood, not plywood or felt covering fiberboard. My real wood cat tree is my 3rd cat tree for ahbuuuiii and it is really tahan lasak. Was rm700 when I bought it in 2021
DeleteHahaha, now everyone here will be waiting for photos of Poochie everyday π
ReplyDeleteLOL! No lah, I won't post his photos everyday, will get boring!
DeleteGood to hear that you are feeling much better than before. ππ» Please take good care π
ReplyDeleteWell, today I felt worse. I will rest this long weekend.
DeleteBody tht functions well is a giftπ€©
ReplyDeleteThe steamed chicken looks so good. Gosh, looking at it at this hour made me hungry!
The steamed chicken here is my favorite!
DeleteDear friend, I am happy to hear that you are feelling better! Your steamed chicken looks amazing! I absolutely love this darling little Poochie, PH. Thank you so much for sharing all these photos. I love the little white "boots" on his paws! He is going to be a great addition to your home, and you will both enjoy each other's company! His presence will help you to heal as well! Animals are amazing like that.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda, but today I felt worse but not to worry, I will rest this weekend. hah..hah... he is a cutie and a charmer! Indeed he is a great addition to my home. I feel better even though I am still sick every time I see him!
DeleteGlad to hear you're on the mend.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, am I looking at your first 100% indoor cat in koochie Poochie? If so, your other cats will be so jealous...lol! Hope he gets along with all your other cats...then again he needs to only get along with Aunty Girl since she's the only one allowed inside the house (at certain times). I think it's a no-brainer since he's a boy...otherwise he'll be in many fights and get many injuries and I'm sure you don't want that. Looks like you could be investing in a multi-level cage soon...lol....like the one Poppy's in (he can share the cage with Girl). The advantage is, of course, Girl doesn't have to spend "dangerous" nights outside + (them being confined) you won't have to wake up to "unwanted surprises"....hah..hah. You're going to have your hands full with Poochie. At kitten age, they climb (like monkeys) and run around the house like a maniac (Poppy is still doing that)...wakakakaka! ;D
Thanks, but I felt worse this morning >.< I will get a good rest this weekend.
DeleteYes, Poochie is my first 100% indoor cat, since he is starting young it would be good. This morning, I discovered Aunty Girl with a wound and it broke my heart. I took her in and cleaned her wound and applied antiseptic. I am actually thinking (you read my mind!) of keeping Girl indoors (she can keep Poochie company). Ya, I am thinking of getting the big cage like Poppy's. My partner was shaking his head "Alamak! 5th anak angkat!" LOL! I read that kittens are very active and older people should adopt older cats hah..hah...
Haha, I read your mind...cat (lovers) minds think alike mah! :D As much as we don't want to keep cats indoors, it's more dangerous to leave them outdoors, so I'm all for Aunty Girl (oh dear, injured again?) sharing a cage with Poochie...and hope they become best of friends (you may have to google on how best to introduce your cat to a new cat). I hope none of your other cats leave (like Belle2) because of not getting along with your new cat.
DeleteYa, old people are advised to adopt older cats so that they run havoc around them. Younger cats are more playful and have lots more energy. My Poppy still have her episodes of running beserk around the house (and my husband will say "there she goes again"...lol).
