I actually wanted to go to Street Porridge to eat their poached chicken but as I was about to cross the road, it rained. Haiz!
So I pusing balik to The Starling and made my way up to Foods Punch. I ordered the Braised Pork with Potato Slices and a side of Pounded Egg Plant and Yardlong Beans.
When the server brought my bowl to the table, she told me that they made a mistake and prepared my order as a Dual Combo. It's no big deal since I got what I ordered and I told her it was not a problem.
This is the Pounded Egg Plant and Yardlong Beans. It had the pounded green chilies and I liked this dish, very tasty and a bit spicy (you can select the spice level).
The dishes were really good mixed into the rice. As I said before, rice is nice! But I am eating too much >.<
A short walk after all that yumminess.

Girl this morning.
She clawed my sofa but I am so used to it now that my blood pressure stayed stable.
I made her come to me on the other sofa.
I had to carry her out before I left the house.
I love to eat potatoes so I believe I would like the taste of this Braised Pork with Potato Slices dish ๐

Dear PH, do you clip her claws! This will help to alleviate the damage she does....or any cats can do. When I had my cats I clipped their claws every three weeks! As well, if you have a designated area (such as a scratching post) with a bit of catnip on it, they will use that. Some knowledgeable person in a pet store can show you how to clip her claws. You just need to be careful to avoid the blood vessels/veins, because this will be painful for her and make her bleed. She is a beautiful cat.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering why you got your dish was served half in your main and the other half on a separate plate...lol (oh, they got your order wrong). The pork and potato looks deceptively simple (I cook this at home all the time too but it probably doesn't taste as good...lol!). ^_~ P/S: Ya, these days, your posts are all carbs...hehehe!
