I actually wanted to eat poached chicken at Street Porridge. When I walked in, I felt the vibe wasn't right, and I was told the restaurant was closed. Oh!
I was not aware that today is their day off. When I checked later, it looks like they are closed today, tomorrow and the day after. I wonder why, maybe for some housekeeping.
Anyway, I made my way to Rice & Pot Empire for my dumpling and pork belly soup.
While I was there I saw a GrabFood rider come in to collect a food order.
I salute Muslim riders who collect food from non-halal eateries.
I spotted this very busy corner.
Oh, beauty product sale. You people who love to put stuff on your face can take advantage of the promotions.
Then I made my way upstairs.
I thought a new restaurant was opening and I was excited.
Bah! It was Bird's Nest. Not my thing. It's basically birds' saliva and you pay so much for it. I know some people swear by it and it is touted to be nutritious.
The gym is another place that won't earn my money.
Then I walked into Popular Bookstore.
Low Cholesterol Cooking. What utter nonsense. I want my cholesterol.
This one makes more sense.
And this too.
Then I went back downstairs. There was a promotion for Sealy bed frames and mattress. My back was feeling tight and I wished that I could just lie down on the bed hah...hah...
Not cheap.
At the basement I saw this Working Set Meal at Shen Niu. I wonder if the actual meal looks as good.
Ah, good that your other brother takes your mom out for lunch. Yummy π and can catch up with each other with mother son bonding π

ReplyDeleteSadly, many ppl put on stuffs on their face not because they love to, but it's required in their job, for example airline crew, newscaster, client-facing & frontdesk staffs. I basically dislike applying chemicals on my face.
ReplyDeleteHi dear friend, I enjoyed seeing all your photos! Low carb is good. Although I used to wear makeup in my younger days, LOL!, I haven't worn makeup in decades. I am a "what you see is what you get" lady. LOL! And sometimes what you will see is a raccoon, as at times I may have black circles under my eyes...but yes, that is me!
