Usually I would have gone to Halla Holla for my breakfast but since we broke up due to bad coffee (hah..hah...) my next best alternative is Yin's Sourdough Bakery & Cafe. They are much closer to me, at Damansara Utama/Uptown.
They open early at 7:30 am but I was there after 9:30 am. I have been there before but stopped visiting for no particular reason.
Ordering and payment is via QR code.
It was very cluttered and the only way to eat this is to use a fork and knife.
The sourdough toast is spread with a very tasty guacamole and then topped with fresh veggies, sliced avocado and a poached egg. You also get a ring of balsamic reduction and a scattering of pomegranate seeds.
I guess I will come back for breakfast or even lunch from time to time.
Good coffee.
I have a much better appreciation of black cats ever since having Ah Boi.

ReplyDeleteHalla Holla's lost, Yin's gain! ;D Yesterday, I was very naughty...had two coffees and a cake (that was because I had to kill time)! Actually, all black cats (and all white, of course) are very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love all your photos, dear PH. I have had 3 black cats in my lifetime and each one was gentle and sweet. Two females and one male....one of the males and one of the females were twins. They resembled the Bombay breed. All black with copper coloured eyes. I cherished every single cat I have ever had.
ReplyDeleteYour food photos are very nice! The Japanese roses are beautiful.
