A Cake Cures Everything

This was the day when I had that awful lunch (I still can't get over it).

Earlier that morning, I had a nice time with Girl.

As usual, after having a few bites of food. she loves to hop onto the sofa.

And as usual, I can't leave her alone as I point the phone at her. Cut it out, Ma!

But Ma does not listen.

So she switched sofa.

It didn't work hah..hah... Look at her face.

My pink Hibiscus

Another one, same plant but different shade of pink.

Later in the morning, I went to eat chap fan at 282 Mixed Rice. Something embarrassing happened .

I took my plate, put it on the table and went to get Salted Kopi. When I got back, I sat at the wrong table. A guy attracted my attention and frantically pointed at the table behind.

Oh dear, I sat at his spot by mistake (he also went to get a drink). I apologized profusely and went to right table hah..hah...

This breakfast cost me RM8.00.

On the way to buy mum's lunch, I passed by TK. Pandan Red Bean Egg Tart. Must be nice.

This was on my walk back after leaving my brother's house. I wonder if you can see that it was very hot. I felt like fainting onto the side of the road and melting. LOL!

Later that day I had the unhappy (or rather inedible) lunch. I did mention that I went some place nearby to drown my sorrows.

Ah.... there is nothing a cake (and coffee) can't fix, eh? An ice Latte and a Chocolate Banana Cake at Yin's Sourdough Cafe.

Well, that made it all better!

If I need a nurse, I want this one.

  1. Dear friend, Girl is so beautiful! In one of the photos it looks like she is talking to you! (they tend to do that with us humans). LOL! Your cake looks scrumptious! Your flower photos are gorgeous! The video is so cute!
Oh my goodness, you poor dear! You sat at the wrong table! Bless your heart!
So sorry you had an awful lunch. The cake looks like it at least in some part made up for it. (I hope)

    1. Yes, you can plant Bunga Raya in a pot. Make sure it is a bigger pot, not too small. So that the roots have more room to grow or else you will find the plant will root out faster and will be stunted.

  4. Oh dear, that was super embarrassing indeed!!! Did you not notice he had different dishes from you? Wakakakaka! It sounds really funny now...but I can imagine the embarrassment. The salted coffee is from a truck outside? That meat on your chap fan looks like sticky char siew though it's probably not. Nice one...your banana chocolate cake (probably more delicious than mine).

    1. His dishes look similar to mine LOL! Luckily I didn't start eating wahahaha!!! The salted coffee is from a stall inside the shop. The meat on my plate was marmite chicken. My cake was all right, not as good as the one I had at Secret Recipe years ago.

    1. I carry an umbrella, or else I think I will faint! Even with umbrella, the heat can still be felt and it is so stifling.

  9. Opppss on the embarassing story๐Ÿ˜… I think everyone has such kind of embarassing moment in their life๐Ÿซ  That kind of sunlight is dangerous to the skin if exposed daily. You need to apply sunscreen lotion and carry an umbrella to block the heat๐Ÿ˜ฌ Your chapfan dishes very suit my taste.
