I am on the chap fan trail again. Eh, what happened to the weekend cooking?
Too much work, too much stress. So. I am taking a cooking break.
As you can see, no rice. I had sweet and sour oinks, beansprouts and celery (RM7.50).
On another day it was fried chicken in some sort of sauce, ladies fingers and broccoli (RM7.00).
Not forgetting my kopi-o ais kosong (RM2.00).
On yet another day, I had fried chicken in another kind of sauce, spinach and brinjal (RM7.00).
Not too bad this sort of lunch. It's way easier to eat out. Hah!
Your chap fan meals look very yummy! I too eat chap fan without rice. So much easier than cooking at home.
ReplyDeleteSome of the dishes are good :)
DeleteSuch huge servings!!! Had nasi campur today - I think I was charged over RM7.00 and I did not think it was all that nice. :(
ReplyDeleteHuge? Not really, they were rather modest ahem!
DeleteBanyak variety!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I like!
DeleteI like the chicken...
ReplyDeleteIt's good...
Deletekeep doing this and you will be selim melim...
ReplyDeleteThat's the whole idea hah..hah..
Deletenot so cheapo lah! I like all the sayur mayur!
ReplyDeletehah..hah... I love lots of sayur!
DeleteI like your second and third choice of chap fan here because I don't really like celery
ReplyDeleteOh, I see! I like celery especially in chicken soup.
DeleteI am all for eating chap fan and not cooking at all since there are no children who needs to be fed home cooked meals. All your dishes I am ok with them with no rice. Yum yum and so convenient. No need to wash up too.
ReplyDeleteYes, no washing up and that's the best part :)
DeleteYou're not on a chap fan trail...you're on a chap choy trail...haha! :D For someone who calls herself a big-eater, can you stay full without any rice? Even I can't...without carbs I get hungry in the next 1 - 2 hours :( I'd love to not eat rice but some of these chap fan dishes are way too salty (for me) to eat on its own.
ReplyDeleteYa hor? No "fan" just the "choy" hee..hee.. I am OK without rice, I don't feel hungry. Agree, some dishes I avoid as they are salty and better taken with rice.
DeleteThis must be another chap fun shop since the table and chairs are different. You eat chap choy to diet and wanna enter Miss Astro Pageant ka?? I must follow your healthy eating.
ReplyDelete#PHastroQueen #PHkurusLidi #PHantiCarbo
Too late liau to enter pageant. Muka sudah nenek kebayan LOL!
DeleteWhen I saw all the tempting dishes served at the chap farn shop, I wonder why go through all the hassle of shopping, washing, cutting and cooking? They are not expensive either. What you ordered look very yummy.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought too and I justified my laziness that way LOL!
DeleteI like all ur dish selections!
