I believe this is a China restaurant and "Foods Punch" is likely a direct translation from Mandarin.
This restaurant features rice bowls topped with a selection of toppings. You can also add on side dishes.
My choice was the Stir-fried Pork with Chili Peppers. There are many more choices when you look at the menu (which I will share at the end of this post).
The soup is all right, nothing outstanding. It tastes sweet, perhaps from the sweet corn and carrots.
The pork is stir fried with green capsicum and there are also slices of cili padi that make this dish fiery. The cooking is very similar to Luck Farm's. Very tasty!
I felt the heat from the cili padi. I think you can request for less spicy if you cannot tolerate spicy hot food.
Obviously you have to be a century egg fan to appreciate this dish. It had a creamy (or maybe slimy) mouth feel.
I don't know what they added to this dish, I am guessing fish sauce as there is a fishy (in a good way) undertone.
Although I love century egg, I am not a fan of this dish but I am glad I tried it.
Overall, I love the rice bowls here. There are also non-spicy options and noodles too.
Here is the menu which I screenshot from the digital menu.
I find that I quite enjoy the food at Restoran Foods Punch and this post was my third visit. I can foresee myself coming back for more.

Thanks for the answer to your mystery dish. I like century eggs but I won't be able to tahan the chili so I don't dare to try this dish. 🥶
ReplyDeleteAh the slimy dish....geli😅
ReplyDeleteLol on the pestle. Definitely not for you to 'punch' on something. Creative rice bowl idea. Haha.
