My home cooking is terribly boring these days which is why I hardly write about my kitchen (non)adventures.
I used to cook and bake so many interesting food. Remember? LOL!
At Aeon The Hari Raya goodies are out on display. With Chinese New Year the color theme is red while with Hari Raya it is green (my favorite color).
And many snacks. My Malay friends call these kueh raya and back in the day, kueh raya was something to look forward to when my friends came back from their Raya celebrations.
Although the Hari Raya mood is building up, the music played at Aeon was still "ong mali ong" perhaps because Chinese New Year is not officially over yet until chap goh meh (which is tomorrow).
Any fans of Whittaker's? This is my kryptonite. I love these Whittaker's Slabs, the Almond Gold being my favorite.
I found this video on Youtube which I enjoyed.

ReplyDeleteMy maternal grandma is 110 years old this year. I think the grim reaper has forgotten about her. 😂 She lives in a nursing home in Taiwan so I haven't seen her face to face for a long time. Not sure she can still recognise me or not.
Wishing you a good week ahead!
God bless your maternal grandma! Wishing you a good week ahead too!
DeleteGood mid afternoon have a good week ahead! There is going to be a thunderstorm soon, at where I am. Of course I remember how you macam macam cooked and ate those years, you are still macam macam eating these days, though trying to discipline yourself. Hee hee. Stay healthy. May God bless you my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon! Yesterday evening it rained with thunderstorm here too. Thank you and may God bless you too, my dear!
