Hazy Days Are Here To Stay

But I hope not for too long. The haze has overstayed its welcome!

This was from yesterday morning when I went out to deliver newspaper to my mum.

It looked like the buildings were surrounded by mist.

If only it were mist! It was not sunny but it was very warm.

I bought newspaper at the usual shop and then I saw this little makeshift newspaper stand. There is a box for you to put payment and also a QR code for e-wallet payments. 

There was a long line of cars at DJ. I believe these are parents dropping their kids off at the international school.

These pretty Zinnias were outside my brother's neighbor's house.

Zinnias are annuals and they have to be replanted. Mine have all died and new seeds I sowed simply did not germinate.

In fact the flowers that died did not produce seeds. I suspect they may have been engineered that way so that we have to continue buying the seeds. 

Periwinkles remind me of my old kindergarten. 

In spite of the haze, this resident's rose plant was blooming.

Since it was early morning, it was a perfect time to take photos since the light is soft.

Hats off to this resident to successfully taking care of this rose plant.

I was wearing my mask or else I would have taken a sniff hah..hah...

The rose plant next door had one bloom.

Soon I was back at DU.

I passed by RT Bakery. They were promoting their Long Egg Tart.

Later at the mall, I saw this scary deco at Nucre Mart. 

And I ate something slimy and very Halloween. I shall post this meal soon. LOL!
