Ah! I ate pasta. I usually don't eat meals that are carb-centric like fried noodles, fried rice, pasta, you get the idea.
Earlier that day, I had breakfast at 282Mixed Rice. Spinach, braised chicken drumstick and egg and my favorite Thai style tofu (RM12.00).
While waiting for my order, I looked outside. Yikes! There was a rubbish dump right outside. Not an appetizing sight.
The pork chop was smokey, juicy and tender. I loved it! The salad was well dressed in a vinaigrette. As for the pasta, it was cooked perfectly al dente though I felt it needed more salt. Or dear, I like salty hee..hee...
This meal cost me RM28.90.
Something to amuse cats lovers.

Dear friend, the cat and kitten video with the mewing and purring is absolutely precious! Your plates look very nice! The presentation is attractive and it looks like a great meal! Your photos are lovely!
ReplyDeleteIs that a potato I see on one of your meals?
Here in Montreal we have different types of potatoes...Russet, (which are my least favourite, as they are dirty on the skin and don't have the flavour I look for) Red, yellow....I love the yellow flesh potatoes! I like the red, but my all time favourite is the yellow. I also like the little plain potatoes, about the size of grape tomatoes. They are very tasty and cook quickly, and you don't need to peel them. Actually, you don't need to peel the yellow potatoes either.
Your plate is carb-centric so they can give it to you at such a price. The protein is small but they still have to make you full (with the carbs lah). The cat video at the end is very amusing! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat pasta is not that much compared to the meat in this dish so I would say that it is a balanced meal. I must make a note to eat lunch at this eatery one fine day.
