I try to eat earlier in the day and close my eating window by 5.oo pm (or earlier).
There are garlic cloves under the perforated tray. So they get roasted at the same time as the pork.
Even if overcooked the salmon head still tastes good due to the high fat content and the bones become crispy.
Sundays, I eat the same thing every time. Rice (reheated from frozen), air fried pork shoulder loin (topped with garlic, chilies and light soy sauce), sauerkraut and kimchi. It looks a mess but so delicious to me!

Your rice 🍚 bowl looks so colourful and delicious, just like those poke bowls 😋 especially with the sauerkraut and kimchi. 😋 I think cold salmon would taste delicious 🤤 have a wonderful Wednesday 💕
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks hah..hah...
DeleteDear friend, your meat meal looks delicious 😋
ReplyDeleteI love ❤️ the illustration and quote as well.
Thank you, Linda!
DeleteDear PH, we are gearing up for freezing rain in Quebec, and one of the areas on the radar for this is my area...Montreal.
ReplyDeleteThe freezing rain is said to be Wednesday and Thursday. There is a strong possibility for power outages as well as dangerous slippery conditions.
Just wanted to ask for.your prayers.
Thank you so much. 💓
Oh dear, that sounds terrible! You are in my prayers, Linda!
DeleteYou like to eat cold salmon, eh? :O I don't like to eat anything that's supposed to be eaten hot/warm/lukewarm...cold...lol...unless it's a cold dessert....hehe! ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL! I am strange hah..hah...
DeleteI like your quote and that is what I have been doing.
ReplyDeleteThat's very good, me too!
DeleteI love how you show simple home‑cooked meals — they remind me that good food doesn’t have to be complex! ☺️ During Ramadan and into the festive season that follows, many of us look forward not just to meals at home but also to traditional celebratory foods. If you enjoy Malaysian cuisine, here’s a great read on traditional Hari Raya foods in Malaysia — from rendang and ketupat to kuih and festive treats. Perfect for iftar or the joyous days after! 🇲🇾✨ https://www.kualalumpurhospitality.com/blog/traditional-hari-raya-foods-malaysia”
ReplyDeleteSure thing! Selamat berbuka puasa!
DeleteDear PH, although we did get a lot of heavy rain and I even heard a few very loud claps of thunder, thank God I didn't lose power. However, many in Quebec did.
ReplyDeleteThank God for that! Power outage would be terrible.
