My Japanese bamboo is flowering. Those are the flower buds and when they bloom, they will look like a ball of flowers.
Now when I look at these things, I think POISON! It is amazing how knowledge can change your perspective about food and nutrition.
I walked to this cereal isle where the words We Make Breakfast Better is written in capital letters.
I used to love those cereals and granola. Those things were very tasty sprinkled on top of overnight oats.
When I was a kid, it was nice when hampers were delivered to the house (we did not receive many, maybe one or two) when we could enjoy unwrapping the hampers to uncover goodies.
Well, when I got home I cooked beef trimmings.
The previous Sunday was spring cleaning day where a truck visited the neighborhood to collect stuff you don't want anymore like old furniture and electrical items.
Among the items I discarded was a microwave oven and an amplifier. Some two years ago, I was unable to lift the amplifier because it was so heavy (must have been about 15kg or so).
Well, I was very pleased when I could lift and take that heavy thing outside (and the microwave oven too). All that resistance training paid off.
PH is stronger now woohoo!

Dear friend, the quote speaks truth.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. Enjoy your gardening activities 💕
Me too, I love flowers and that's what I look for on my walks to make it less tiring.
DeleteWow golden horse in the first photo. So joyous to see flower buds. Hope you derive much happiness from your gardening activities. You are so strong and healthy PH keep it up!
ReplyDeleteI try to keep myself fit and strong for my old age LOL!
DeleteThose cans of crackers have my name all over it...but they're expensive (did I see correctly....about RM25/can?) coz you can't store much in a container. I much rather fry them myself...lol! You can buy a 600g pack of raw crackers for only RM35 and you can fill many cannisters.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Yes, that's the price. Much better if you fry them yourself because we don't know what sort of oil they use.
