Yesterday was a public holiday, the birthday of the Sultan of Selangor. Daulat Tuanku!
Public holiday = gardening in my books.
So.
Another Zinnia bloomed but it was much smaller. While I was busy pruning my plants and pulling out weeds, Kittie Kat had a snooze.
Girl and Poodie were outside somewhere.
Lunch. Two pieces of fish, a bowl of soup and sauerkraut.
I am loving fish. I should eat fish more regularly. It is a nice change.
This was dinner the day before.
Air fried beef trimmings.
Which is more than 2 months old.
Very good for gut health.
Earlier in the week, I snapped this photo of my brother's neighbor's Japanese Rose. I used to have these in my garden but they died.
Then I came upon this pineapple plant.
And this beautiful Rose. The sun was shining very brightly, so this photo is overexposed.
Lovely flowers π dear friend. Your cats are beautiful. Great quote. π I don't think I would like sauerkraut, but I do love ❤️ cabbage. Stir fried cabbage, cabbage in soup, and coleslaw I love ❤️
ReplyDeleteI love fish and yours looks delicious π
Thank you, Linda! I used to dislike sauerkraut too. I suppose I acquired a taste for it. Like you I also enjoy stir fried cabbage, cabbage in soup and coleslaw.
DeleteGood to know that you did what you wanted to do yesterday which is gardening. π π
ReplyDeleteKittie Kat and Ah Boi must be very happy to have you keep them company in the garden. πΊ πΉ
Pretty πΊπΉ
I would love to eat the fish in your photo ππ€€
I was happy to be able to garden! These two girls are rather cheeky hee..hee...
DeleteLove your homemade food, they looked lovely except for the fermented veggies which I had not tried before. Your cats π what else can I say. Cute, adorable, cheeky as usual. Ahh, your flowers π π π but hor, your brother's neighbour's pineapple (ong lye), I don't like, ouch! So spiky! Even though ONG the pineapple symbolise good things coming. Thanks for sharing the photos and quote. Ciao.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if that ong lai is decorative or can eat since I have never seen a red one like that at the supermarket.
DeleteYour furry friends were also enjoying the public holiday...lol! ^_~
ReplyDeleteYes, they were hah..hah...
DeleteI have stopped my homemade fermented cabbage for a while, time to make it again so I can finish my remaining apple cider. :P
ReplyDeleteMine is running out too!
